Fem365: Fitness. Food. Femininity.
My book is almost ready! I am so excited to share the information in FemFusion Fitness for Intimacy… It is going to make you feel amazing; sexy, confident, strong, trim, and toned. But before I send it off to the publishers, I need to choose a cover. I have settled on the following beautiful design, but I can’t for the life of me decide on the color scheme! If you’re reading this right now, I’m talking to you! Please help — weigh in with your thoughts and comments. Which color scheme makes you, the consumer, want to pluck it off the (virtual) e-bookshelf? (Note: the entire cover is not displayed in the images below…. Just enough to give you a sense of the different color schemes.)
- Option 1
- Option 2
- Option 3

I’d go with option 3…the purple cover.
Alright… Between my FB page and Bonnie’s comment, here’s the tally: 3 votes for option 1, 1 vote for option 2, and 5 votes for option 3. Keep the votes coming!!!
Between the 3, I vote for the purple (Option 3) also. BUT I would love RED and those legs are soooo pale, kind of sad/ sick/ very shy looking, can you make them look more tanned:-)?
I vote for #3 also. I am wondering now….do those legs belong to Julie? She seems very critical of those legs! LOL.
I think #2 and #3 will appeal to wider audiences than #1. I think I like #2 better, it’s slightly easier to read the word ‘intimacy’ in the thumbnail.
Also, I’ll have y’all know that my legs were that color mid-summer after a vacation to Hawai’i… good thing it wasn’t January. Some of us just have pale skin. Nothing wrong with that!
Deb, nope, the legs are definitely not mine, lol.
And sincere apologies if my earlier comment offended anyone. No offense was meant ever, I promise, I was just honestly giving a feedback of feelings the cover invokes in ME.
Everyone’s different! I am not into pink, purple or pale, personally, but I will also buy Bri’s book regardless of the cover look so my opinion then probably is not really all that relevant. But, on that note, I am very fair skinned and always used to have pale legs also. Interestingly, after switch to eating paleo (about a year ago), I have a natural glow to my skin I did not have before and for, whatever reason, have a lot more color to it also. I don’t know what the deal is but I read similar comments on paleo/ primal boards and the common theory seems to be increased blood flow from better nutrient bio-availability.
My eyes are definitely drawn to the purple.
I’m liking the purple, too… option 3 for me!
I’m liking the purple best as well… option 3 for me!
So interesting about the Paleo connection, Julia! I’ve heard that a number of times as well. I’m still waiting for the “glow” — give me a few more months, maybe it’ll come with time!
Kelly, your legs are gorgeous…. And I’m with you… It looks like #3 is appealing to the most people! I just got an email from a friend who asked her husband his thoughts… Both of them are voting for purple. I’m just worried that it’s too dark… I’ll make the final decision tomorrow. THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT!!!
I think #3 is best too.. And I love pale. I have to admit to desiring tan legs and body but after my mom was diagnosed with melanoma It’s easier to curb those desires:) Purple is very sexy and fem especially with pale legs:) I’m so excited for the book Bri!
Kelly, those legs really are YOURS? Wow, they ARE gorgeous, pale or not. I had no idea these legs actually belonged to a “real” person and not a photoshop/ some web resource library (I would not have commented on them otherwise). Part of the reason while I prefer my legs tanned is because I have a few spider veins so my legs actually NEED to be tanned to look decent:-). You are lucky you don’t “NEED” a tan.
Bri, you may not be seeing the glow because you always had one, I actually remember commenting how you “looked tanned” in early March. So, you probably were already doing pretty well on gluten free “glow-wse.”
Sam, sorry about your mom’s diagnosis but melanoma actually does not have to do much with sun exposure. While sun burn can contribute to it somewhat, so does lack of vitamin D (and to a MUCH larger extent). Healthy tan (amount/ degree varies by person, of course) is actually protective of the skin/ melanoma susceptibility.
Bri, back to the subject at hand: I am actually starting to like #2 better as it is not “screaming” pink or purple, it is a tasteful blend, easier to read and well, makes the gorgeous legs look a bit more tanned too somehow!
I like option #2- it’s a little different. Also- thanks for the kegel post yesterday. Doing kegels makes me “feel funny”… but I’m going to try doing them enough to where it just feels normal… I hope it’ll work!
I like the middle one. I find it easier to read the text (both the dark letters and the white). Since the cover is lighter, the corners are darker, which leads my mind to the bedroom. #3 is already a little darker, so the contrast isn’t as great.
I am really drawn to option 2 – the color is not overpowering, but still provocative.
I vote for option number #3! I would buy any color, but #3 really catches my eye!
