If you’ve ever wanted a custom-curated list of recommended videos from your favorite YouTuber, then I encourage you to learn how to use YouTube playlists. I have loads of playlists on my channel, and I specifically designed each one with particular interests or issues in mind. Here’s just one example. This is my Pelvic Pain/Tension Relief playlist, and I can’t even TELL YOU how many times I’ve recommended this one! I should have the link on permanent copy/paste. 😉 Pelvic Pain/Tension Relief Playlist FemFusion

Let’s talk about how to find, use, and create YouTube playlists so that you can really CUSTOMIZE your YouTube experience and get the most out of your next workout.

How To Use YouTube Playlists

In this video, I show you how to access YouTube playlists (and video notes):

If you don’t want to watch the video in full, here’s the nutshell version. Before I go on, let me just provide the disclaimer that things are always changing in the online world, and all devices are a little bit different, so you might have to play around to make playlists work for you! But the following “how-to” is a great place to get started:

  • Navigate to your favorite YouTuber’s channel. For example, my channel is https://www.youtube.com/femfusionfitness.
  • When you’re there, you’ll see several “featured playlists” on the homepage. These are the playlists that I really want you to notice FIRST. If you look in the picture below, which is how my channel looks on a DESKTOP COMPUTER (not on a mobile device) you can see that my “featured playlists” at the time of this writing include: “New to FemFusion? Start Here,” “Ab Camp,” “Mini Movement Breaks: Core Workouts UNDER 10 Minutes” (and there’s a few more that the photo cuts off).
  • If you don’t see what you’re looking for on the YouTube channel homepage, then click the link that says “Playlists” (circled in red in the picture below). You’ll be taken to a page that has EVERY SINGLE PLAYLIST created by your YouTuber!
    • Some examples of playlists I have are as follows:
      • Ask the Experts Interviews
      • Painful Sex
      • Foga (Fitness-Yoga)
      • Q&A with Dr. Bri
      • Posture and Alignment
      • FemFusion Video Safety
      • Embrace the Sillyness (Movement Should Be FUN!)
      • Cardio
      • Daily Routines
      • …And MORE!!!!
    • Please note that I’m always tweaking and adjusting my playlists, adding new videos, creating new ones, etc. Things might change a bit on my end, which is why I encourage you to make playlists of your own! See the next section…

How To Create Your Own YouTube Playlists

You can also create your own playlists to customize your YouTube experience and make picking your next workout EASY! How many times have you watched a workout, enjoyed it, and then weren’t able to find it again? That’s happened to me several times. I make use of the playlists feature so that I never lose track of my favorite YouTube videos.

You can add videos you’ve watched and loved to a saved playlist of your own, or you can create a “watch later” playlist. These playlists can be your favorite videos from one particular YouTuber (for example, you could make a “FemFusion yoga” playlist and save all of your favorite yoga videos that I make), or they can be favorite videos from a variety of YouTubers (for example, you could make a “yoga for hips” playlist and have videos from several different online teachers).

To make a saved playlist of your own, look below the video you’d like to add and click on the icon that looks like three lines and a plus sign. See image below.

When you click on it, a little box will pop up (as seen below). You can select whether you’d like to add that particular video to your “watch later” playlist (EVERYONE should have this option), or you can create a NEW playlist as you can see in the image below… Just click on the “+ Create new playlist” link. Create a name for your new list, and you’re all set!

In the future, anytime you’re watching a video you really enjoy and don’t want to lose track of, just add it to one of your saved playlists!

I hope this helps you navigate the semi-confusing world of YouTube. It’s such an amazing free resource, and I’m SO PROUD to be a part of it. I just want to make sure you know how to use it wisely to unlock its full potential for you and your next workout!

Until next time, remember… Eat clean, move every day, and you WILL shine brighter!

All my love,
